Note		Omer worked for many years and retired from Brunswick Mining and Smelting, was a member of the UCT. He was an enthusiastic member of the Kinsmen Club. He was also the President and founding member of G.R.A.N.D society (Grandparents Requesting Access N Dignity) NB Chapter. Omer was instrumental in changing the laws of the Family Services Act Sec 129 (3).
