Pete was a former employee of Allsco Building Products Ltd. and was of the Catholic faith. An all around athlete, Pete played junior ball with the Moncton Cubs when they won the Maritime Keefe Cup title and played senior baseball with the Moncto

n Schooners. Pete played hockey with the Eaton's Vikings, the Moncton Alpines and with the Moncton Bears, when they won the Hardy Cup in 1974/75. He continued playing hockey in his senior years with the Moncton Roadrunners and later became an avi
