He served 25 years in the military, first as a Korean War Veteran with the Royal Canadian Navy as a Leading Seaman Gunner aboard the “destroyer” HMCS NOOTKA, HMCS MICMAC and in the RCAF as a Firefighter where he finished his military career. Afte

r the military he went on to work at the George Dumont Hospital where he retired in 1989. An avid outdoorsman, he and his wife enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, especially at his camp on the Barnaby River, NB. He was a former member of the Bic

entennial Skating Club, a Life Member of the Air Force Veterans Club and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion where he enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard with his many friends. He was admired, loved and respected by those that he touch

ed over his life and will be fondly remembered by all.
