Albertine lived her life through her children and particularly enjoyed travelling with them through the years. She was also a long-time active member of the Sacred heart CWL Council and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.

She loved people, new experiences and new places. Her quick wit and humorous nature endeared her to many. She held a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her 12 grand-dogs, and once cat named Tigger.
