Avant sa retraite, Joseph avait travaillé comme gérant à la légion de Bouctouche et conducteur d'autobus scolaire.

Il avait servit outremer pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale comme membre du « Black Watch Regiment ».

Il aimait jouer aux cartes surtout au « 200 ». Il était membre de la légion branche # 6 et de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.

Prior to retirement, Joseph was the manager at Bouctouche Legion and also a school bus driver.

He was a veteran of WWII, having served overseas as a member of the Black Watch Regiment.

He enjoyed playing cards, especially a good game of "200". He was a member of the Legion Branch # 6 and Saint-Anselme Parish.
