Ian retired from PEI's Eastern School District in 2005 after 37 years of teaching. Ian was a faithful member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Moncton and a former Catechism and Confirmation teacher in Montague, PE.

Ian was a proud graduate of UNB (Class of 1973). He was a devoted family man and educator. He had a lifelong love of physical activity and passed away while doing something that he loved.
