Note

He worked on the family farm and market garden until 1924 when they moved to Ceylon, Saskatchewan. His father passed away in 1937, and the family continued to operate the farm.

Around 1940, George moved to Southern Ontario where he worked in various jobs. In the late 1940's he moved to the Lakehead area to work in the bush camps for various woodlands operators.

He met Rita Marie Caissie in one of those bush camps, and they married on April 22, 1958.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and grafting apple trees. A long time member of St. Margaret's R.C. Church, his home and his family were his main interests.
