Patricia graduated from the Netherwood School for Girls in 1929, and then attended Bishop Strachan School for Girls in Toronto. She studied for a year at Les Fougeres, Lausanne, Switzerland, where she learned to speak French. She subsequently gra duated from the University of Toronto in 1935, and returned to Saint John, where she took a cooking course at Vocational School. After her marriage to Frenchy, Patricia was kept busy raising a family of twelve. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed knitting for her grandchildren, reading, and classical music and opera. She was a long time member of the Lady Moyra Ponsonb y Chapter of the I.O.D.E, and Trinity Anglican Church. |
