Tiger was a well known boxer in the 1950's, holding the 1955 Maritime Bantam Weight Title and the 1956 Canadian Featherweight Title. He was also a member of the Merchant Marines, a tug boat operator in Vancouver and the former owner of Dubé's Furn

iture Ltd., where he loved to wheel and deal, he was known for his wonderful sense of humor, always teasing everyone even strangers. Tiger was also inducted into the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame in 1988 .
