David was born in Plymouth, England and immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1963. He was a caring and loving husband to the love of his life, Zoé. His children Anna & Michael were his pride and joy.

David loved to hike and spent many hours exploring the woods, trails, and beaches of the Maritimes. He had a great love of literature and, in particular, histories of the world. When his first child was born he indicated that his life had change

d for the better. He welcomed everyone with open arms. David loved a good laugh and loved being part of a large family. He became an important member of the Bernard family and offering his support and care to all and especially to Mary Evangeline.
