Fernando a travaillé dans l'entrepôt pour le CN avant sa retraite en 1983. Ancien combattant de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, il avait servi outremer pendant deux ans en Italie, France et Hollande et il était membre de la Légion royale canadienne #6

. Il adorait faire du bateau et travailler le bois. Il avait donné plusieurs de ses créations pour diverses levées de fonds et avait consacré beaucoup d'heures en tant que bénévole au East End Boys & Girls Club.

Fernando worked in the freight inventory for CNR before retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas for two years in Italy, France and Holland. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, he was an avid boa

ter and woodworker, contributing with his creations as donations to many fundraisers as well as volunteering many hours at the East End Boys & Girls Club.
