Note		Il a immigré au Canada très jeune et a grandi à Drummond où il est allé à l'école avant de déménager au Nouveau-Danemark. Il parlait couramment le danois, l'anglais et le français. Il était agriculteur de métier et musicien très talentueux, divertissant jusqu'à la fin des années quatre-vingt-dix. Dans sa maison et plus tard dans le complexe pour personnes âgées de New Denmark, il a construit un village miniature reproduisant tous les bâtiments de sa communauté tels qu'il s'en souvenait dans ses premières années. He immigrated to Canada at a young age and was raised in Drummond where he went to school before moving to New Denmark. He was fluent in Danish, English and French. He was a farmer by trade and a very talented musician, entertaining until well into his late nineties. At his home and later the New Denmark Seniors' Complex, he built a miniature village replicating all the buildings in his community as he remembered them in his early years.
