Avant sa retraite, Bernadette a travaillé à la Coop Cartier à Richibucto, pendant 30 ans. Elle était membre du Club de l'âge d'’or de Richibucto et de la Ligue des femmes catholiques.

Before retiring, Bernadette was employed at the Cartier Coop in Richibucto for 30 years. She was a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club and the C.W.L.
