Bertha was formerly employed at l’École Beauséjour and Radio Canada. She was actively involved in her church, Christ-Roi in Moncton. She loved to play bridge, watch curling, bowl and lawn bowl. She belonged to several clubs, including the Centenni

al and Riverview Lawn Bowling clubs and gave generously of her time to numerous charities.
