Marie-Rose a travaillé pendant plusieurs années comme couturière au magasin Creaghan.

Après sa retraite, elle s’est dévouée comme bénévole pendant de maintes heures à la Villa du Repos et au Centre d’Oncologie Dr Léon-Richard.
