Note

Faith and family were the two pillars of Larry's life. Dad/Papa was always available for reading stories, playing cards, hitting a golf ball or baseball or taking his children fishing. Larry was happiest when he was giving to others, whether as on

e of the original members of the Lively Golf and Country Club, Christ the King Prayer Group, the Creighton Mine Credit Union or as a volunteer at the former Catholic Renewal Center and driver for the Canadian Cancer Society. Larry was an active me

mber of the C.Y.O. and the Knights of Columbus and contributed to the building of St. Pius X Church in Lively and Our Lady of Canada Church in Mindemoya. Larry celebrated his retirement from INCO by spending winters in Florida or enjoying the comp

any of family and friends. Larry loved to "putter" at the cottage he built and loved on Manitoulin Island. Larry loved life and will be remembered for his incredible sense of family, his laughter, his patience, his gentleness, his great generosit

y and his gift of unconditional love. Larry's life can be summed up in the words of St. Paul: "I have fought the good fight, I finished my course and kept the faith."
