Desi a commencé à travailler dans l'épicerie à Weymouth à un très jeune âge.

Il a travaillé pour Demitrius Amirault (épousant sa fille unique, Odette) ensemble, ils ont fondé Amirault's Riteway.

Ils ont employé de nombreux membres de sa famille, ce qui leur a donné l'occasion d'apprendre le métier.

Desi était un véritable entrepreneur et a continué avec une entreprise Ski Doo, Weymouth Home Hardware and Furnishings, Sears.

Plus tard, avec son frère Mike, Weymouth Foodland.

Il a toujours été impliqué dans la communauté, membre de longue date du Weymouth Kiwanis Club et des événements annuels du 1er juillet.

Desi started working in the grocery business in Weymouth at a very young age.

He worked for Demitrius Amirault (marrying his only daughter, Odette) together they founded Amirault’s Riteway.

They employed many of his family members giving them opportunity to learn the business.

Desi was a true entrepreneur and continued with a Ski Doo business, Weymouth Home Hardware and Furnishings, Sears.

Later, together with brother Mike, Weymouth Foodland.

He was always involved in the community, a long-time member of Weymouth Kiwanis Club and the annual July 1st events
