Note		Après avoir obtenu son diplôme d'études secondaires, Norman s'est enrôlé dans la marine américaine et a servi sur l'USS Rankin de 1954 à 1958 et dans la Réserve navale des États-Unis de 1958 à 1962. Il retourna à Baileyville et épousa Janet en 1958. Ils ont été mariés pendant 45 ans. Norman a commencé à travailler chez St. Croix Paper Company (Georgia Pacific) à Baileyville en 1958 et a pris sa retraite en 1996. After graduating from high school Norman enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Rankin from 1954 to 1958 and the United States Naval Reserve from 1958-1962. He returned to Baileyville, and married Janet in 1958. They were married for 45 years. Norman began working at St. Croix Paper Company (Georgia Pacific) in Baileyville, in 1958 and retired from there in 1996.
