De retour chez lui, il a occupé plusieurs emplois avant de prendre sa retraite du Scarritt Home Centre en 1988. Raymond était membre du Conseil Palos n° 35 des Chevaliers de Colomb, du Bristol Elks Lodge n° 1010 et paroissien de l'église St. Anthony. , Bristol. A World War II veteran, he served in the United States Army in both the European and Pacific Theaters. Upon returning home, he went on to hold several jobs before retiring from Scarritt Home Center in 1988. Raymond was a member of the Knights of Columbus Palos Council #35, the Bristol Elks Lodge #1010, and was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church.
