Helen started her career as a telephone operator for NBTel in Campbellton and later transferred to Saint John. She was an active member of the union and guided her fellow workers as Union President for a few terms. She had developed her French sp

eaking skills through extensive training at the Memramcook Institute.

Helen was a tireless advocate and volunteer for the less fortunate. After her retirement, Helen volunteered for many years at the Red Cross. She was widely known as a great cook and loved to have her family and friends around for those delightfu

l meals.
