Ray grew up, and settled after marriage, in the Parkton area of Moncton where he and his wife happily raised their two children. An avid sport fisherman, Ray will be remembered as a dedicated and passionate umpire and referee, both of which he enj

oyed from his youth until into his sixties. Ray worked at the Co-op on Record Street and then on Mapleton Road for many years and always had a warm smile for his customers.
