She was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion serving on the ladies' Auxiliary in Richibucto (Branch 30) and Grand Falls (Branch 21) for many years.

Mrs. Roy was a very active member of the community with volunteer work and sports. She was the Ladies Golf Club champion in 1969, she made a 'hole in one' in her early 80's. She loved fly fishing, bowling, curling, hunting, playing scrabble and ca
