Lucie worked as a governess in New York City as a young woman before meeting Elisée at a picnic at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Browns Yard. They moved many times with children Roger and Yvonne due to Elisée's career as an R.C.M.P. officer. Afte

r his retirement they moved back to Richibucto, where they spent many happy years. Lucie was an active woman with many interests. She was a talented painter, weaver, worked with ceramics, was a wonderful cook and loved her garden and flowers. Sh
