He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in WWII with the Military Police. Later he worked at T.Eaton and Company. He was affiliated with the United Church of Canada. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #32 Hills borough where he served as Past President and has been a member for 55 years. Tony really enjoyed all sports especially curling, being Past President of the MCA Curling Club. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed skating and hockey. His favorit e hockey team was the Montreal Canadians and in baseball the Toronto Blue jays. He also really enjoyed race horses. He lived life to the fullest and never took anything for granted. He had a great sense of humour and loved to talk to everyone, yo u could find him telling stories and jokes to anyone who would listen. He also loved politics, he was very proud of his Liberal background. He loved music and sang in the Albert County Men's Choir at one time, with his many friends. Above all thin gs he was a devoted and caring father. He cherished all the time spent with his family and had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. He was a very special man who will liv e on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. |
