. Il a joui de sa retraite pendant 12 ans en voyageant avec son épouse, explorait l'Internet pour se renseigner et suivait de très près ses équipes préférées, les Maple Leafs et les Blue Jays.

Johnny worked voluntary as controller at the Boishébert Club in Shediac for about 15 years. He worked for Via Rail for 33 years. He was an exceptional man; very devoted, especially to his family, also very passionate and enjoyed teasing people
