M. Melanson a été barbier au commerce de barbier Paramount pour 49 ½ années. Il était membre du Club d'Age d’Or et de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.

M. Melanson a été impliquer au sein de sa communauté, Il a siégé comme conseiller pour la Ville de Dieppe de 1960-1968; président de la commission du Parc Industriel pour 12 ans; président des comités de levée de fonds pour l’aréna Centenair

e et pour le monument des anciens combattants à Dieppe.

Il a été présenté la distinction Melvin Jones par le Club Lion.

Mr. Melanson was a barber for 49 ½ years at the Paramount barber shop.

He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Saint-Anselme parish. Mr. Melanson was involved in his community; he served as a Dieppe Town Councilor from 1960-1968; 1st chairman of the Dieppe Industrial Park for 12 years; chairman of both the Diepp

e Centennial Arena and the Dieppe War Memorial fund raising committees.

He was also the recipient of the Melvin Jones award from the Lion’s Club.
