Avant sa retraite, Olivier a travaillé pendant 35 ans pour le CN comme operateur de chariot élévateur. Il aimait jouer aux cartes, pêcher, était un membre au Club d'Âge d'Or de Haute-Aboujagane et il était membre de la Légion royale canadienne #32

. Il était un ancien combattant de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale au service de la Royal Canadian Army North Shore Regiment en Angleterre, en Belgique, en Allemagne et en France.

Prior to his retirement, Olivier worked at the main shop for 35 years with CNR as a forklift operator. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, was a member with the Club d’Age d’Or in Haute-Aboujagane and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3

3 of Shediac. He was an overseas veteran of the Second World War serving with the Royal Canadian Army North Shore Regiment in England, Belgium, Germany and France.
