Eddie started working with CNCP in Charlottetown (1949) and moved to Moncton in 1960 where he continued his career with CNCP until his retirement in 1988. Following his retirement he was employed at the Shell Convenience Store corner of Mountai

n Rd. and Gorge Rd. for several years. In 2008 he began working as a cross guard at the corner of Arden St. and MacBeath Ave. where he enjoyed this work during his retirement years.
