Walter was a retired Supervisor with the City of Moncton Board of Works Dept. with 35 years service.

He was a member of St. Philip's Anglican Church, a Veteran of WWII, having served with the Canadian Army and was a member of Moncton Legion Branch #6.

He enjoyed playing cribbage, dancing, walking at Champlain Mall, travelling, watching boxing on television and spending precious time with his wife.
