Il a fait ses études à Memramcook et au Collège St-Joseph.

Tout d’abord il a travaillé en plomberie et chauffage sur les Centrales militaires durant les années 40. Par la suite il a joint l’équipe Air Liquide où il a passé 21 années pour accéder au poste de surintendant d’usine.

Il a par la suite poursuivie une carrière avec la compagnie Industrielle Alliance ou il est devenu conseillé, ensuite directeur de succursale.

Il était directeur de l’Association des assureurs-vie du Canada pour le N.-B. et vice-président de la région Atlantique.

Plus tard il fut nommé à la Commission de l'énergie et des services publics du Nouveau-Brunswick et y a servi pendant 11 ans.

Paul-Émile a joué des rôles importants dans la communauté et pour l’église.

Il est le président sortant du Conseil de la paroisse du Christ Roi et activement impliqué dans le financement du Diocèse.

Il a également été actif au niveau des Scouts du Canada pour son district.

Pendant de longues années il fut membre du Parti Libéral et président sortant de l’Association libérale de Moncton Ouest.

Paul-Émile went to school in Memramcook and also attended Collège St-Joseph.

He began his working life with military projects in the plumbing and heating industry in the 1940’s. He went on to work with Canadian Liquid Air for 21 years and became Plant Superintendent.

This was followed by a successful career with Industrial Life Insurance where he was an agent and later branch manager.

He was a director of the Life Underwriters Association of Canada for New Brunswick and was a Vice President for the Atlantic Region.

He was later appointed to the New Brunswick Public Utilities Board and served for 11 years.

Paul-Émile played a large part in the community and church.

He was past President of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church Parish Council and involved in fundraising for the Diocese.

He was active with the District Boy Scout Association. In addition, he had a keen interest in politics.

For many years, he was a member of the Liberal Party and was Past President of the Moncton West Liberal Association.
