Catherine grew up in Fairville on the city's West Side and attended St. Rose and vocational school. Kay spent over 40 years in the hairdressing business working at Peggy's Beauty Salon and out of her home. She was an avid bowler in her youth an

d travelled extensively in her later years, especially with the Fairville Gang. She will be sadly missed by her family, as well as the friends she made at Rocmaura during the last few years spending time together at Kay's corner
