Anne graduated from ST Thomas University with an Arts degree, followed by a Law degree from University of N.B. Anne practiced law at Barry Spalding in Saint John, and later worked at NBCC Miramichi in administration. Anne served on several board

s in the community including Miramichi Transition House, Miramichi Physically Disabled and Miramichi Accessible Transit Commission & was appointed to the Premiers Council for the Disabled. Anne was a lifelong member of St Michael's Parish.
