Pam earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics from ST. Francis Xavier University in 1944.

Pam was a lifetime member of the Catholic Women's League since 1953 and she was awarded the Maple Leaf Service Pin for her outstanding years of service throughout the years, Pam was involved in Red Cross Fundraising. She was Treasurer of the Miram

ichi Historical Society and Treasurer of the Miramichi Natural History Association. Pam served as Secretary of ST. Michael's Museum Association and was member of The Ladies Auxiliary at Mount St. Joseph.
