Roy worked at Bernice MacNaughton High school for many years as a sanitary engineer, he was a Korean war veteran and an active member of the New Journey Church formerly Pathway Church of God, and volunteered at the Ray of Hope Needy Kitchen for te

n years. In his early years he enjoyed fishing, boating and camping at Knights beach on Lake Erie, Ontario. Later, Roy loved to play cards especially auction 45 and cribbage.
