Gordon worked at GE for 20 years; Westburne for 2 years; and Eddy Group for 17 years.

Gordie was a dedicated Volunteer for many organizations including Scout Canada; Minor Hockey and Baseball; Choirs and committees at South Bathurst; Mount Carmel and SacredHeartChurches.

Gordie's main passion was the Special Olympics. He was also a member and Volunteer of UCT Council 827; 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1935; and Bathurst Rotary Club. He served on the City of Bathurst Planning Advisory Commi

ttee for 6 years.

Amongst the many awards he received throughout his life, his most cherished was the Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award he received in 2010. He was also very proud to be a Torch Bearer for the 2010 Canada Olympic Games. He was also an avid Toron

to Maple Leafs fan.
