Theresa a également consacré beaucoup de temps à son amour de l'apparat. Elle a été directrice des concours américains Little Miss Madawaska, Miss Northern Maine et Miss New England.

Elle a reçu le prix du bénévole de l'année par la Miss Maine Scholarship Organization.

Elle a été nommée Citoyenne de l'année par le Club Optimiste de Madawaska, pour son dévouement à l'autonomisation des jeunes femmes.

Theresa was employed at Zayre’s and Ames department stores.

Theresa also volunteered a great deal of time to her love of pageantry. She was the director of the Little Miss Madawaska, Miss Northern Maine, and Miss New England American pageants.

She was awarded the Volunteer of the Year accolade by the Miss Maine Scholarship Organization.

She was named Citizen of the Year by the Optimist Club in Madawaska, for her dedication to the empowerment of young women.
