Alma worked at the TD Bank and with her husband's Melvin Distributor business. She was actively involved with the Holy Family C.W.L., volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Bathurst Literacy Council, Bathurst Jaycettes, Superior Home and School and th

e Holy Family Scouts.

She was physically active throughout her life with swimming, cross country skiing, walking, seniors skating, bowling and curling.
