Avant sa retraite, Normand travaillait au service de Vachon Inc. Il aimait jouer aux cartes et adorait les sports, spécialement les Canadiens de Montréal et les Yankees de New York. Il était membre fondateur de la Ligue de fer à cheval de Moncto

n et membre au 4e degré des Chevaliers de Colomb du Conseil Mgr A.J. Melanson, ancien membre du Club d'Âge d'Or de Parkton, de l'Association des arbitres du N.-B. pendant 30 ans, de l'Association de balle-molle du N.-B. et de l'Association des Sco

uts du Canada. Il était ancien bénévole avec les soupes populaires de la Croix Rouge et ancien président de la St-Vincent-de-Paul (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce). Un homme de dévoué à sa famille, Normand adorait passer du temps avec sa famille ainsi qu’ave

c sa famille élargie. Il aimait également pêcher et chasser à son chalet.

Normand was retired from Vachon Inc. He was an avid card player and loved sports, especially the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Yankees. He was a founding member of the Moncton Horseshoe League, 4th Degree member with the Knights of Columbu

s Council Msgr. A.J. Melanson, past member of the Parkton Golden Age Club, the NB Referee Association for 30 years, the NB Softball association and Scouts Canada. He was past volunteer with the Red Cross soup kitchen and past president of the St-V

incent-de-Paul (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce). A family man, he loved spending time with his family and extended family as well as at his camp, fishing and hunting. He was also inducted in the NB Sports Hall of fame.
