Joe worked for Killam Properties as a maintenance property manager for over 10 years. In his earlier years, he was owner and operator of Bernier Construction with his brother David and later worked for Kincade Properties. Joe was an avid hunter an

d fisherman and he loved to go boating. He was a great cook and he cherished time spent at his camp. He especially loved the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team.
