M. Grondin était directeur d'écoles, ayant occupé des postes aux écoles Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc, Mgr Bernier et Sacré-Coeur de Grand-Sault pendant de nombreuses années.

Il était membre du mouvement U.C.T., conseil 854 de Grand-Sault, autrefois président de la Légion royale canadienne, filiale 21 de Grand-Sault.

Il a aussi été membre des cadets de l'air pendant de nombreuses années et a siégé au sein du conseil municipal de Grand-Sault.

Mr. Grondin was a retired School Principal, having taught in several schools in the Grand Falls area.

He was a member of the U.C.T., Grand Falls Council 854 and a Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21.

He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and served on the Grand Falls Town Council.
