Shirley Gaudet Back to Moncton Times & Transcript Shirley Gaudet GAUDET, SHIRLEY It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Shirley Gaudet which occurred Tuesday, January 19, 2014 at the Loch Lomond Villa. She was the daughter of the late Alva and Gladys (Lobb) Parks. Shirley was a membe r of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53; she enjoyed knitting, playing darts, shuffle board, and fishing. She will be sadly missed by sons Donald (Christina) Knudson, David Knudson, John (Karen) Knudson and Michael (Krist a) Knudson all of Saint John, NB; daughters Linda (Bob) Paul of Oromocto, NB, Donna (Tim) Dyker of Bloomfield, NB; brothers Reuel Parks of Fredericton, NB; Jean Eisnor of Saint John, NB, Mareen Porter of St. John, NB; many grandchildren, great gra ndchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband William Gaudet; son Steven Knudson; brothers Gregory Parks, Donald Parks and sisters Alva Stackhouse, Lois McDonough. Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Keeping with Shirleys wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at Fernhill Cemetery on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. , with the procession departing the funeral home at 12:50 p.m. Donations in Shirleys memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimers Society or to the charity of ones choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com She was the daughter of the late Alva and Gladys (Lobb) Parks.
