Guy immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 16, residing in Hartford.

He later moved his family to Bloomfield where he resided for 20 years until finally settling in Windsor Locks for the last 28 years.

Guy proudly served in the United States Army and then began a career as an auto mechanic at several locations eventually becoming Shop Foreman at Old Towne Lincoln Mercury in Windsor for 12 years.

He ended his career as the Area Engineer at the former Dexter Corporation, retiring in 2001 after over 20 years of service.
