Nancy, always a kid at heart, loved life and her family. She enjoyed her flowers and gardens, and loved to play games of any sort. She spent many a night with the Bishop Drive Tim Hortons gang, filling the place with laughter and of course, th e infamous scratch tickets. Although she never won the "million", she was just as excited if she won a free ticket but thats the kind of lady she always was. She cherished her times at Bluegrass and loved to dance and sing with her friends. Nanc y asked for all of us to remember her through acts of kindness, scratch a ticket or two and plant flowers and dance in her memory. In addition to being a loving wife, Mom and friend, she worked as a waitress for many restaurants in Fredericton. When she retired, she volunteered at the Fredericton Soup Kitchen and The Veterans Unit. She was a member of the Fredericton Bluegras s and Old-time Music Association and the Ladies Auxiliary -- Royal Canadian Legion #4. |
