Patricia a fait ses études primaires à Bathurst et a gradué avec honneur en 11e année à l’Académie Sacré-Coeur en 1949. Une excellente élève calme, elle est devenue une enseignante exceptionnelle et dévouée qui était aimée par tous ses étudiants

. Durant sa carrière, elle a enseigné à différents niveaux, allant de l’élémentaire au Collège en éducation. Patricia adorait la musique, la lecture et les voyages avec son époux Bill.
