As a young girl, Marjorie worked at the Strathcona Hotel in Port Elgin, NB. In her mid-teens she rode the back of the daredevil motorcycle for the Bill Lynch traveling circus. She then worked in Halifax, Montreal and Toronto as a waitress, inclu

ding at the Colonial Tavern on Yonge Street. She also worked at several other restaurants, Watts, Monticello, and the Kennedy Road Steakhouse to name a few. In her late 20's she studied and became a professional poodle groomer, then in 1986, sh

e started at Dortec Industries, Aurora, ON (Magna International) until her retirement in 1996.
