Leo a joint les forces armées en 1944 en tant qu’enfant soldat, pour ensuite avoir été transféré au Génie militaire canadien.

Au cours de sa carrière, il a était stationné à Fredericton; Allemagne; Chilliwack, C.–B.; Québec, QC; Whitehorse, YK et London, ON.

Au moment de sa retraite, Leo était le secrétaire de la Commission des relations de travail dans la fonction publique avec le gouvernement provincial.

He joined the Armed Forces in 1944 as a Boy Soldier, and later transferred to the Royal Canadian Engineers.

During his career, he was stationed in Fredericton; Germany; Chilliwack, BC; Quebec, QC; Whitehorse, YK and London, ON.

Upon retirement, Leo was the Secretary of the Public Service Labour Relations Board with the Provincial Government.
