In 1964 she became one of the first Sunday School Teachers at St. John Vianney Parish in Lower Sackville,

In 1994 she was professed and received into the fraternity of the Queenship of Mary of the Secular Franciscan order of the Roman Catholic Church.

She also was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of St Vincentâs Guest House.

The last several years she was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and enjoyed the fellowship of the people there.

She worked at The Flower Shop on Blowers St, Moirs Chocolates, Cameo Restaurant, Alanas Hardware and Welchas Drug Store.
