Fred taught: in Plaster Rock, N.B. (1962-1964); Port Elgin Memorial High School (1964-1969) and he was the Guidance Counselor at Bathurst High School from 1970 until he retired in 1993. Graduated from St. Clements School in Port Elgin in 1958; St . Josephs University of Memramcook (1960); University of Moncton (BA 1962), (B.Ed 1968); Acadia University M.Ed (Guidance) (1970). He loved his family, playing chess, bridge, singing with Friends in Song, travelling and his dogs. Over his lifetim e, he was proud to have made 100 donations to Canadian Blood Services. His final donation was his brain to Dalhousie University Research Dept.
