served in the U.S. Army within the 25th Infantry as an NCO (E-5) Tank Commander in Viet Nam from 1967-1968.

He conducted and completed many combat missions in and around Cu Chi as well as within the Saigon Theater during the Tet Offensive of ’68.

He earned several medals including the Army Commendation Medal for Merit, both of the Viet Nam Service & Campaign Medals, Expert Rifle, as well as the National Defense Service Medal.
