Mr. Daigle was educated at the Fort Kent training school, subsequently for two years being engaged as a school teacher.

Following this he was occupied for three years as a lumber scaler, then as a clerk in a general store in Van Buren for one year.

In 1910, Mr. Daigle embarked in his present business, that of conducting a general store under the firm name of Daigle Bros.

Today the store is one of the largest stocked and best known along the St. John River.
